The itinerary has just arrived for the trip, it involves meeting Ron Berger and visiting two very exciting schools both of who radiate the Expeditionary Learning ethos. Namely Casco Bay and King Middle, which have reputations as world class schools. I can't wait.
I'm hoping it is going to be at least half as enlightening as the trip to HTH, three years ago. Reading back through this again reveals many start points in our thinking. My expectations are high and I fully expect to be able to build on what we know and find some ways forward in terms of curriculum, structures, culture, assessment and pedagogy.
